About Us

Our Story

Roam and Om was born out of a passion for the natural world and the practice of yoga. These outdoor adventures are a dream that percolated for years before it finally burst forth in 2022. We believe in the power of the outdoors, walking meditation, fresh air, and movement to make us happier, healthier, and more connected.

At Roam and Om, we want your yoga practice to be truly unlimited. We will bring the mats to you and set up “the studio” wherever you choose to practice. We will lead you through a yoga series that is catered to the needs of you or your group. Better yet, we’ll take you on a carefully curated adventure through the beautiful natural scenery of Vermont – choose between the shores of Lake Champlain, the banks of Brown’s River, or the summit of Mount Philo. Roam and Om’s mission is to take you to the places that call to you – mind, body, and soul.

About Brielle

Brielle is the founder of Roam and Om. A native New Englander, she landed in Vermont after a beautiful chapter in the mountains of Colorado then North Carolina. Her life has always been defined by a search for the perfect balance of peace and adventure. Brielle has taken her hiking boots and yoga mat from the shores of Hawaii to the mountains of Colorado and everywhere else that called to her, always in pursuit of wellness and joy. With Roam and Om, she wants to share those positive experiences with the world.

As both a hiker and a yoga instructor, Brielle centers her guidance and instruction on inclusiveness. Brielle started practicing yoga in 2005 while living out west. At first, it was just another way to move and keep her body flexible and strong for her other activities like hiking and mountain biking. But as she delved more deeply into her practice, she realized that yoga was so much more than a way to accommodate her other fitness passions. It was a passion in and of itself. She found that the physical strength she gained from yoga, while wonderful, was surpassed by the peace of mind and serenity that she carried with her after each practice.

Brielle became a 200 hour certified yoga instructor through Asheville Yoga Center in 2017. She believes every body can explore the natural world on foot and enjoy the release and relaxation of yoga. Her classes are accessible for beginners and lovely for seasoned practitioners. But what most differentiates Brielle as a guide and teacher is her positive, joyful attitude. She makes one guarantee about your adventure with Roam and Om: fun. Outdoor yoga is meant to feel good and make you happy. That goal defines her efforts from your first step on the trail to your last move on the mat.

“Brielle led us through an awesome flow that was both grounding and uplifting. Her friendly nature made everyone feel comfortable. It was so nice doing yoga outdoors where you could feel the breeze and notice the world in a different way. I recommend Brielle to all my friends for their special events, birthdays, bachelorette parties or even just a regular day that you want to do something special and healthy for yourself and friends!”
